I am Maria from Portugal. I arrived from a safari of 11 days in Kenya arranged by onsafaris.com. My safari was from 23rd of June until 3rd of July.
The safari was wonderful; I have seen all the animals (including the big five) at 2 or 3 meters of distance.)
All the hotels that I booked and the tour arranged was done according to what I asked. The punctuality and knowledge of the driver Guide was perfect (and also his Language and knowledge of wildlife.) Me and my husband Thomas were all alone in a vehicle with the same driver all the safari. I really recommend onsafaris the agency staff did not disappoint me in anything we had previously agreed. I booked my travel by internet and of course I had some doubts, but all of it disappeared when I arrived to Kenya. The hotels and the food and the safaris were better than what I expected. And onsafaris was always in contact through radio talking to our guide and enquiring of our progress. Onsafaris was on top of things. Each 2 or 3 days they sent us regards through the driver guide even if I did not ask for anything. So I could feel he was there for whatever I needed.
During our trip, I also managed to talk to other people in the hotels coming from other
Tour companies. To my surprise, their prices were more expensive with the same or less short safaris and lower class hotels. And they usually were mixed with other clients
so their vehicle sometimes had more than 6 persons. Ours was like a private safari with the exclusive use of the custom made safari vehicle. From what I have talked around onsafaris agency was the one with the best prices and a most personalized treatment.

Our Mother Grethe Franer turned 60 years whilst on safari and onsafaris organized a very unique cocktail at the carnivore where our mum cut a cake in the midst of Jambo Kenya song and African drum beats from the Carnivore Restaurant staff. In addition, the company has positioned staff at the visa desk at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to assist their clients with visa formalities. We never had to queue. We were given VIPs treatment. It was an un-forgettable safari and memories will linger on. We saw a lot of animals including the elusive leopard and we were extremely satisfied. We will recommend and advise any potential client to make their booking with them.

I was shopping for a safari to Kenya and I came across them through the Thorn tree travel forums,they were the best in replying to my enquiry, supplying all the information and their price was the best. Then we arrived and they met us at the airport. It was great being in Kenya.
Same day we had a welcome dinner at the Carnivore restaurant, they gave us a real surprise. Though they did not know that it was our Mum’s birthday, they organized for a small cocktail where we had a cake amidst ‘karibu kenya’ song by the Carnivore staff choir while the staff stood clapping their hands in conformity.
Thanks to the coordination and effort of all the staff we had a great time out there. They did a great job and delivered what they had promised. In addition, they upgraded our hotel booking from a lower class lodge to a luxury tented camp (Mara Fig tree). I will definitely recommend all my friends and family who what to come to Africa. The guide, John was great too. I convey my regards to onsafaris and each one who made it happen for us. Wishing all of them all the very best and hope to see them soon when I come back to Kenya.

I am from New York City. Me and my wife arrived in Kenya from the 20th and left on 27th August.07. We visited Amboseli and Masai Mara and stayed in the Sopa Lodges. Onsafari staff were very helpful during our email correspondences and he even assisted us to change our tickets that we had booked online. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely refer ‘Onsafaris.com’ to friends. But there was a lot of driving between the parks and next time, we will prefer to fly so that we can maximize on the time of game drives. I contacted ‘onsafaris.com’ through the Internet. Among the many companies I contacted, this was the best in terms of replies, Itinerary and pricing. Ours was a private wildlife safari to Samburu, Aberdares & Masai Mara with a 7 days beach retreat. In Sanburu we stayed at Sanburu Lodge, then Ark in Aberdares and in Masai Mara we stayed at Siana Springs and Keekorok. All was very good, even our guide Henry and the game drives. In Mombasa, we were booked at Hemingway’s Beach Resort in Watamu.
But we did not like the economy room and the local bosses talked with the hotel and had us upgraded to superior at no extra cost.
I will come back again in 2009 and will also recommend the company to my friends in Moscow.
